More questions
about this service.
Can the existing small opening simply be enlarged?
An installer needs to assess the existing opening and material. A larger flap may require a new panel or glazing unit, particularly where the existing glass cannot be altered.
How is the quotation worked out?
Replacement glazing or panels, tunnel components and making good must be included explicitly where needed. The mounting surface, aperture, selected flap and needed accessories influence cost.
When should the flap model be finalised?
Establish the exact product before a panel or pane is ordered, because aperture dimensions and mounting accessories differ between models.
What should be covered at handover?
Check flap movement, reader operation where fitted and weather sealing.
